zSHARE! Free file hosting!

GBA added to the site! -- What's more to say? The entire GBA rom set has been added to Rom Hustler today. I'm in the progress of uploading Dreamcast atm, stay tuned!

Big update soon! -- I managed to get my hands on the full USA Dreamcast set, I'm looking to upload it to the site in the near future. However I would first have to upgrade the current rom server since it doesn't have enough empty space to accommodate it. Besides that I also plan on completing the PSX set on the site, and maybe add a few other CD based systems.

More PSX -- Added another 50GB+ worth of PSX games to the site. Can't list them all here, go check it out in the PSX section.

Sony Playstation -- Today I've added a nice collection of Playstation games to the roms section. For now it's a rather small collection (around 100 games) but the plan is to add some new games every few weeks from now on, with the ultimate goal to have all the gems that this system had in it's lifespan available on the site! These images are genuine 1:1 copies, so no cheap rip shall be found here.

Note that not all titles on the list are currently downloadable. As you might have noticed with the other systems, specific titles have their download links removed with instead a message it being ESA protected. So like all other systems we will offer no ESA protected games for the Playstation.

Sega Saturn -- The complete US collection of Sega Saturn has been added today! It are all authentic images of the original, no rips or anything. Be sure to check out Rom Hustler in the next couple of weeks because I'm planning to add some more good stuff.

MAME updated -- MAME has been updated from 0.95 to 0.106. It's been awhile since it was updated, it contains some new titles that weren't contained in the old collection (like kof2002 and kof2003). Enjoy playing these gems!

Forums back -- Well what's more to say about this, been gone for a while, but it's back now. All former user accounts are still intact.

Concerning support -- I always receive emails from alot of people me with questions like 'Why does game X not work with emulator X'. I wanted to make clear that I do not give technical support for the roms and emulators that are located on this website. If you have problems with getting a rom and/or emulator to work I refer you to the forums that are located on the site. So please, stop emailing me with these kinds of questions because your email will be deleted, unanswered.

Rom servers down -- Sorry to inform you guys, but currently the rom servers are down. Currently the network where all the rom servers are located is under a (D)DoS attack, so nothing that's hosted there works. At this time i didn't get to speak any of the guys over the network there, so I can't be sure when the servers will be back online. Again, sorry for the inconvience.

Update: Servers are back on, I'm still not sure what the exact problem was for the network to go down. Right now I'm looking into a new host because I'm so fed up with these guys.

Sega CD -- Guess what? The Sega CD isos are back kicking again! However, I still cannot give any garantuees that the server will able to handle it, so don't hold it against me if they will dissapear again very soon. Just like the other isos, they are rarred up in 20MB files. Be sure to have the latest winrar installed on your pc, don't give me any emails about you guys not know how to unrar it.

PC-Engine + Neo Geo CD -- Those 2 systems were added to the rom section today! Due to the big file size they come in, they are split up in 20MB part files. And best of all, they are FREE, unlike some of the 'other' rom sites. I'm also busy getting the Sega CD isos back up, so keep an eye on romhustler for the next few weeks ;-)

Forum back up -- I have the great pleasure to inform you of the fact that the forum is back up and running again! This all thanks to Soshimura. The forum has been down for over 2 weeks due to the fact that our former host f'ed up their business, which resulted in the whole company going down. Most recent post have been lost, but basicly everything is still there.

Neo Geo roms updated -- I updated all the Neo Geo roms to NeoRageX compatible ones. These Neo Geo roms only work with (the latest) NeoRageX, so they don't work with WinKawaks, Nebula, MAME etc. If you want Neo Geo roms that work with WinKawaks, Nebula, MAME etc. you have to download them from the MAME roms section. Please don't email me with questions such as 'Why are the Neo Geo roms not working with "FILL IN ANY OTHER EMU THEN NEORAGEX"', because it's clearly stated here (obvious you wouldn't email me if you read the statement).

Mame updated to .95 -- MAME is updated to version .95 as of now! Ofcourse the MAME emulator is also updated to the .95 version in the emulator section.

New systems -- I added 7 new gaming/computer systems to the site:

If you like them, go download and enjoy playing them! Ofcourse you can find the emulators for these systems in the emulator section.

Forum downtime -- Forum has been down for the last couple of days, due to the movement of the website to another webhost. Forum is back up now and everything stayed intact, so go check it out. Sorry for any inconvience caused during the downtime.

New server -- I ordered a new dedicated server for the site, because I have to move some roms from another hosting account and I also need to mirror all roms to increase the available bandwidth. The Sega CD ISOs are not coming back for now, I can't offer them for free anymore because it was using too much bandwidth. My old host shut down my account, though I ordered it for one year.

Though I feel a bit ashamed to ask, donations towards Rom Hustler are greatly appreciated at the moment. I have to cope with some serious hosting bills, which is quite hard for a mere student like me. If you feel like donating, you can find the link on top of every rom download page. Please keep in mind that I can't accept Credit Card donations, all Credit Card donations will be denied. Thank you for understanding.

Sega CD Down -- The Sega CD ISOs are down. The server had too much to cope with it, my host already informed me about this fact last week. I don't know when they'll be back up, if they ever will be back up. They were simply using too much bandwidth, which I can't afford no longer. I'm afraid I can't offer them for free anymore in the near future.

MAME set added -- I added the full Mame 0.91 set to the site, check it out in the MAME section. I also updated the MAME emulators to 0.91 in the emulators section, for compatibility reasons.

And another, smaller update: Solid_Snake was so kind to provide me with the Sega CD game Shadowrun (J). You can download it now in the Sega CD section, but remember, it's Japanese.

Big update! -- I made another update to the Sega CD section, and it's a pretty big one this time. These are the new additions:

I guess it has something everyone must be looking for, enjoy. ;) For those who are wondering when the MAME set is coming, I still have to sort some things out concerning the hosting. So don't count on it for the next 2 weeks.

Genesis update -- I replaced the old genesis section today with one in 7zip format, just like I did with the snes, nes and n64 sections. This one also contains all the 32X roms, which makes the 32X section kinda obsolete. But I'll keep the 32X section online for reference.

Sega CD update -- I made a small update to the Sega CD section today, I added the following games:

I expect some new additions to the Sega CD section later this week, stay tuned ;)

Forums are back! -- Due to technical issues, the forum has been down for more than a week now. And cause of these issues, all the old posts are lost now. But who cares about those old posts anyways, go register yourself on the forums right now!

Sega CD -- I added 14 new Sega CD ISOs today, check it out in the sega cd rom section. I also have the pleasure to tell you that I'm planning on uploading the full MAME 0.91 set in a couple of weeks, but nothing is sure yet. I will make another announcement if I know for sure.

Zinc Roms -- I added 34 new roms for the Zinc system today. These can be played with either the latest MAME emulator or with the latest Zinc emulator. I'm working on some new Sega CD ISOs which I'm going to add later on the day.

FBA Roms -- I added 29 new roms to the site, in the new Final Burn Alpha rom section. You can either play these roms with the latest version of Final Burn Alpha or with the latest of MAME. For the people who wonder why the forums are still not working, it's because my old host is still down and I'm not yet able to make a backup of the old forums because of that.

Almost up -- Almost every rom is back up again. Thanks to Tadam63136 for uploading the Gameboy/Color roms that I just added. I'm uploading the Genesis roms right now, some of them do work already, but you'll have to wait another couple of hours till it's all up.

N64 Roms back in action! -- Good news, I'm finished uploading all the n64 roms! I'm going to upload the roms for the other remaining systems a.s.a.p, Tadam63136 is going to take care of the gb/gbc roms. Bless him for that ;-)

Roms partial back -- So far I have uploaded the roms for the following systems:

And I'm working on the NES and N64 roms right now. N64 roms should be back up within 24 hours if everything goes well. As stated before, the Sega CD ISOs are still up.

Update: NES roms are back up also. Check out later to find out what else is back up

Bad news -- The rom server was not only down, it also had a harddisk crash. So right now I'm uploading all roms again to the new server, but it's going to take more than 48 hours. I'm very sorry for this, because I know the roms are already down for more than 2 days now. But please have some patience, we're working very hard on it

Dedicated server -- I ordered a new dedicated server today, that should fix all the issues the site currently is having. Please allow is 24 to 48+ hours to recover all our roms. Meanwhile the Sega CD ISOs are still up, so you can try those if you want. Again sorry for all the downtime.

Server Down -- As you might have noticed, is that the downloads currently do not work. This is because the server is currently down. I opened a ticket at my webhost and they're working on it. I hope it will be fixed a.s.a.p. and meanwhile, sorry for the inconvience.

Sega CD Update -- I added 5 new Sega CD ISOs to the site today. As you might have noticed the speed of the servers have also increased, which means more download pleasure for all you rom lovers! I'm working on getting some new games up, I will give you an update when I'm finished with it.

NES Update -- I replaced the NES roms on the site with the full GoodNES romset. The files are packed in 7Zip just like the N64 roms, so you'll need to unzip them before you can emulate them. I'm also going to replace the snes and genesis roms with their beloning Good sets. I'm also planning to add some Finalburn roms to the site (mostly 1944 style), so keep an eye on that.

Sega CD Update -- I'm finally done uploading all the Sega CD ISOs to the new server. I noticed there were some problems with the temporary links, but everything should be fine now. Sorry for the inconvience, and enjoy!

Sega CD Back -- I managed to retrieve the Sega CD ISOs back for probably a temporarily time. As soon as I'm done uploading them to the new server I will switch the links and inform you all about it. Sorry for the inconvience. But meanwhile, enjoy as you can! If they go down again, just wait till I'm finished them on the new server.

Sega CD ISOs -- I hate to be the messenger of bad news, but I must inform you all that the Sega CD ISOs are down again. At the moment I'm still busy with searching for a new host, so they won't come back anytime soon. Sorry for the inconvience.

7Z files -- I've been receiving alot of emails lately concerning the N64 Roms which are zipped in the 7Zip format. In order to play these games you have to unzip them first, with either the latest WinRAR from rarlab.com or with 7Zip from 7-zip.org.

Good news! -- I managed to retrieve the links back for the Sega CD ISOs, thanks to a friend. So it's a great pleasure for me to give them back to you, all the fans. Check out the Sega CD rom section and drop by on the forums if you have any troubles.

Slow download speeds -- I noticed that the download speeds of the roms have dropped tremendously (most of the time around 40KB/s). I mailed my host about this and they told me that it is a capacity problem that should be fixed in the first week of February. They're going to add a second gigabit link, that should do the trick. Thank you for understanding.

Sega CD ISOs -- As you might have noticed, I removed the Sega CD Isos due to some server issues. I'm currently searching for an alternative server to host these ISOs, and I will keep you updated when I find it.

New layout! -- The Rom hustler made a change in layout today! It's a frameless version of the site this time, what should resolve in much better user experience. Drop by on the forums to tell me what you think of it.
